It starts off as A ICarly webshow is on, and a Girl Named Valerie Speaks to Freddie. She asks Freddie if he'd like to date her, and he says yes. After that, Freddie's Mom comes in and is so excited that it'll be his first date. He says to his mom isn't a big deal, But his mom already bought him a vest from the wild wild vest.
The next night, Freddie comes back, with his Crazed Mom trying to fluff his hair until he locks her out. Carly takes his vest off and gives him cooler clothes. Valerie comes and Carly and Sam go upstairs. Freddie and Valerie talk while Sam and Carly spy on them using camera equipment.
Later at school Freddie is mysterious, leaving everyone hanging if they have kissed yet or not. Later, Valerie talks to him and asks him to help her do a web show, but she can only do it on the day iCarly is filmed. Freddie tells her no, and that he is dedicated to iCarly, so she uses guilt to make him say yes. Then she kisses him.
Later, Jeremy, a.k.a. Germy, is the tech producer for iCarly. He does a horrible job, sneezing all over the camera and blowing his nose plug on Sam. Later at school, Valerie gets Sam alone and tries to get her to join her show. Valerie says she only dated Freddie to get him to do her show. Now she wants to take over iCarly's spot and become very popular. Sam says she'll think about it, but she was only making it up to make Valerie leave her alone.
When Sam tells Carly, they try to tell Freddie but he doesn't believe them.
